Norristown League Home Run Records

Heels Field Record (HRs in a single game)
4 - Dan Stauffer, Execupharm (2010 regular season game) *
3 - tied by many
* Dan Stauffer hit a 5th HR that was ruled an out (over the league limit)

Playoff Series Record

11 - Ken Shemonski, Paragon Alliance/Cannon (2010 in 6 game series)
9 - Gary "Augie" Mauger, Woodstream (1990 in 4 game series)
9 - Craig Borzillo, Paragon Alliance (2007 in 5 game series)

All-Time Season Record
43 - Ken Shemonski, Al's Cold Cuts (1988, 20 Games, not all were at Wierman)
NOTE- 39 HRs were hit at Wierman Field in less than 13 games as some of the teams
20 scheduled games were played at Norristown High School and Logan Field. Shemonski
ended up with 88 total (counting leagues, tournaments, etc) on the season including
15 in a single tournament up in Boyertown.
NOTE- Back in 1977, Charlie DiNolfi hit 55 HR's for Al's Cold Cuts during the entire
League Season counting the Norristown and Conshohocken leagues together. Some other old
stats back in the day have Richie Bellem hitting 32 HRs for Al's in 1974. DiNolfi hit
27 HRs in 1975 for Al's. And then came back to hit another 20 in 1976. Charlie Kish and
Mike Mazza hit 14 for Triple S Club in 1979. Clarke Farrell hit 14 and 11 respectively
in 1983 & 1984 playing mostly Class-A and Open Tournament Competition. Farrell had 18 HRs
in his first year in Norristown playing in the C-Division for Bake Meister in 1981. I know
Danny Fisher playing for Heels and his J&L Towing State Champs Squad hit 20 in Norristown
that same year they won the state title (1981). He also hit 10 in York the weekend they won.
